Who’s behind this

Hi, I’m Danish Ibrar, founder and editor of Gulf Visa Guide.

I’ve been living in the Gulf for 5 years. Like most expats here, I’ve personally gone through visa applications, renewals, ID checks, and fine payments on portals like MOI, Metrash, Absher, and ICP. I started this site because official portals are confusing and most guides online are outdated or copied, so I write the guides I wish existed, tested step-by-step by myself.

How our content is researched

Every guide on this site is built from primary sources official government portals like the UAE’s ICP and GDRFA, Qatar’s MOI, Saudi Arabia’s Absher and Jawazat, Oman’s Royal Oman Police, and Bahrain’s LMRA rather than secondhand blog posts or forums. When a rule changes (like a new visa category or an updated fee), we go back and update the relevant article rather than leaving outdated information live.

Our update promise

Visa rules change often. When a rule changes, I go back and update the relevant article, and every guide shows its last reviewed date.
